Safe Enviroment

We care for your safety.

Each person has an inherent dignity as a beloved child of God. At St. Mark, we are committed to providing a safe environment in our parish, in our Faith Formation programs, and in all of our ministries, especially those that serve children, elders and vulnerable adults.

Reporting Abuse

Our clergy and parish staff who receive information of a suspected child or elder abuse are required to make a report to the concerned child protection or law enforcement agencies.

Anyone who has reason to believe, or might suspect that a child or elder has been or is being abused, by a priest, deacon, staff member, or volunteer, should report their suspicions first to civil authorities:

SAN MATEO CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES (650) 595-7922

BELMONT POLICE (650) 595-7400

SAN CARLOS/REDWOOD CITY SHERIFF (650) 363-4000

SAN MATEO CHILD ABUSE COUNCIL (925) 519-8811

Then, contact the Archdiocesan Victim Assistance Coordinator:
